NOVEMBER PRAYER POINTS FOR BLACKOUT

November Prophetic Insight:

Every six months I ask The Lord for prophetic insight concerning the coming months. Sometimes He gives a single word, other times a sentence or two for us here at Arise Daughters to focus on. For the month of November, our word from The Lord is "Black Out".

What does a BlackOut mean?

Isaiah 60:2 puts it this way. "For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you" We are in a time where the world is getting darker through acts of selfishness, hatred, confusion, murder....the list goes on. Matthew 24:37 tells us "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." The days of Noah were dark, so dark that God himself decided to wipe the earth clean of all of its filth. When the Lord spoke this word of "Black Out" for November, I knew He was not saying that it would be a physical blackout at this moment. Rather a spiritual one and so I have come to give you prayer points on how to be the Light in a dark season.

How to be the light of God:

Many want to be the light but in reality, they are lamps hidden under the table. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house." Mathew 5:14. It's time to come out of hiding and be the light God has called you to be. If God has given you a business idea, blog, spoken word, invention... do it now! It's not always about the money, but the light you will spread when you are operating in your gifting and talents.

What prevents you from shining?

Simply put overthinking. When you reason with God, you quench the Holy Spirit. This is NOT good because the Holy Spirit needs to be able to flow through you and not be stopped by your questions, fears, reasoning and lack of focus. If this is you, and you have been quenching the Holy Spirit, repent (which means to turn) and then go right now and google the opposite of these words. Ex: what is the opposite of fear? Once you find your answer(which by the way is confident) pray that God would help you to not be fearful, BUT rather, confident!

Sister, trying to "Ghost God" is not going to work- it just leaves the world darker. People should be able to look at YOU, a child of God and see His light...... as we settle into November, let's not just pray to be the light, but to walk in it as we learn to shine brightly, so that the Glory of God can be revealed. This brings HOPE to a dark and broken world.

Reflect:

In what was have you been hiding from God? What has He purposed in your heart to do in this season of your life? What challenges are you avoiding. Take a few minutes to reflect and determine the ways if any you have been "ghosting" or avoid God.

Next, pray that God would grant you mercy for avoiding the things that He wants to birth through you that would spread light! Remember, you are called to be a city set upon a hill.

Verses for Prayer Points:

Heavenly Father I ask that you would shine your light through me and allow people to see my good works so that glory can be yours.

"Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

Matthew 5:16

Father thank you for knowledge, and for revelation. Thank you for shining your light in my heart and reveals the things you placed in me long ago.

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

2 Corinthians 4:6

Forgive me Lord for not being a city set on a hill, forgive me for hiding and putting my lamp under a basket because of ___________(fear, shame, finances). I repent and as commit to letting my light shine for you.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

Matthew 5:14-15

Abba, thank You for leaving us with you Word. It indeed is a light to my path and a lamp to my feet. I will commit to following you, even in dark times because you Lord are my light.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:105

Father help me to arise in the area of influence that you have called me to. Thank you for waking me up out of slumber. I ask that you allow your glory to rest on me.

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

Isaiah 60:1

I decree and declare that my path shines brighter and brighter. I outfit myself daily in the full armor and thank you for the breastplate of righteousness. Thank you for turning my rags of filth into garments that are clean and pure. It is only because of th blood of Jesus and I thank you!

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.

Proverbs 4:18

I love you Lord and I thank you in advance for a beautiful month.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Remember:

As you pray it is best to bring a notebook so that you can write what God is saying. He may correct you, give you a word, remind you of scripture or even show you a vision. It is irresponsible to pray and walk away because prayer is communication. You cannot communicate if the conversation is one way. Honor the Lord with your time by giving it back to Him and being attentive.
